Save your story
A photograph gives you a chance to view yourself through the lens of others in times where you are present yet sometimes unaware. A smell, can transport you to a different place, a trinket can harbour the values of another and a handwritten note can teach you things beyond words.
All these forms of memory keeping have the ability to leave a lasting impression, a way for us to exist in a time where we may be absent.

The Artist
Hello and Welcome! My name is Madeline and I am the creator of Maddire Memory Maker. I am a married mother of two and I started my small business after the birth of my first born daughter.
I have always been in love with all things arty and crafty ever since childhood, it’s always amazed me how easy it can be to make ‘something’, even out of the most strangest materials. To be able to turn one thing into something else entirely through repurposing and recycling is very special. I love giving a second life to the items around me and often make the conscious effort to do so.
I love to read but don’t do it enough - and I have always been able to self analyse myself and reflect on past experiences. That’s where journaling and memory keeping now became my happy medium. My mother has always kept a box dedicated to old photos and random keepsakes and so naturally I started my own box during childhood, a box I still have today and would love to share with my daughters - the very act of memory keeping in its rawest form.
But since that gentle afternoon where I happened to stumble onto a Junk Journal making video while bouncing my daughter to sleep, I finally have a way to create, capture and conceal all my favourite things in one place. Not a bulky boring box but a visually vibrant Journal that I can display proudly on a shelf. Something that I can easily grab and add too and most importantly something that I can use to encourage others - to keep a piece of the memories they make alive.
It’s a very common thing to forget those special yet initially insignificant moments that take up our day to day life, and ever so wonderful to be given a reminder. For those seemingly forgotten memories are not forgotten entirely, just hidden away awaiting the right moment to reveal themselves.
